TRIO offers premier embryos at "Elite Genetics" sale on May 8

TRIO Cattle & Genetics is honored to be a part of Telpara Hills’ “Elite Genetics” Sale during the World Brangus Congress, May 8th in Rockhampton, Australia. The Pearce Family at Telpara Hills is recognized as a leader in the Brangus breed in Australia and across the global Brangus breed. Their sale will be a highlight of the World Congress week. The friendship and partnership between Telpara and TRIO started with Lazy 3 Statesman 100S. Since that time, we have collaborated on several premier Red Brangus females, includes Brinks Meat Counter 406J, the dam of Thorpe of Brinks 406R.

When Stephen Pearce approached us several years ago about participating in their sale during the World Congress, we knew that the offerings would have to be worthy of such a stage. TRIO and Telpara Hills are offering three powerful matings from National Champions, internationally noted sires and proven donors. Each lot consists of 6 embryos. The embryos are currently housed at Advanced Genetic Services in Texas and are qualified for export to any country. We can confirm export eligibility upon inquiry before sale time. All health testing and shipping expenses are the responsibility of the purchaser.

TRIO Embryo Offering One

Lazy 3 Statesman 100S x TRIO’s Wildfire 175W: Offered by TRIO Cattle & Genetics & Rancho la Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico

Only on the stage of the World Congress will you find the mating of two National Champions.

TRIO’s Wildfire 175W is the 2010 and 2011 National Champion in the United States. Never defeated, during her show career, she also earned the honor of Show Female of the Year in the International Brangus Breeders Association. Wildfire has received admiration from cattlemen and judges from across the industry and world for her flawless phenotype – combining volume, muscle, skeleton design and femininity in a unique package. Her dam, Fancy 175/4, is also the dam of the National Reserve Grand Champion, TRIO’s Triumph 175 and the next TRIO herd sire, TRIO’s Yucatan 175Y. Her sire TRIO’s Sequoia was himself a National Champion and the son of our foundation female, Dos XX’s Miss Maria 112/2.

Lazy 3 Statesman 100S is a highly sought after sire across the breed. Owned jointly by Telpara and TRIO, Statesman was the 2007 National Champion in the U.S. His calves are powerful and productive. He is sired by the prolific sire CX Excalibur 19/M and himself has sired two National Reserve Grand Champions, TRIO’s Triumph 175T and MBJ Wiseguy 269W along many other champions and top performers. His progeny may be found on 4 continents.

TRIO and Rancho la Victoria believe that Wildfire’s influence on the Red Brangus breed will be monumental for generations to come. This is an offering worthy of the World Congress and Telpara Hills stage.

TRIO Embryo Offering Two

Tanqué 23T x Brinks Cassie 1114S – Offered by TRIO Cattle & Genetics

This mating is one of the pillars of the current and future success of the TRIO program. Tanqué is one of the most sought after sires in the breed today. Cattlemen who have seen him are impressed by his powerful phenotype, soundness, abundance of muscle and capacity. Head turning as a weaned heifer, Cassie 1114S was selected from the heart of the Camp Cooley Red Brangus herd. A daughter of Sureway’s Rocky Street 227N, was the 2009 Co-Show Heifer of the Year. More importantly, she has proven herself as a prolific donor and producer of powerful progeny. Her progeny are contributing to breeding programs such as Indian Hills Ranch and Thomas Cattle Co. in the U.S., for Rancho la Victoria and Rodolfo Padilla in Mexico and Carlo Ojea in Argentina. She passes her massive skeletal design, length of body and performance to every calf.

Embryo Offering Three

Tanqué 23T x Ms Brinks Meat Counter 406J – Offered by Telpara Hills and TRIO Cattle & Genetics

This is a mating that is truly a new perspective on proven genetics. 406J is the prolific dam of the performance sire Thorpe of Brinks 406R and a foundation female for the Camp Cooley Red Brangus herd. She was added to the Telpara and TRIO program for her maternal traits and performance. Combined with Tanque’s heritage, the progeny of this mating will bring maternal efficiency, longevity and growth performance to a program with vision for the future. 406J has 24 recorded progeny in the International Brangus Breeders Association along with xx(?) in the Australian Brangus Breeders Association. Tanque’s sound skeletal design, abundance of natural muscle and natural capacity will complement the femininity and capacity of 406J. Now deceased, this is the last opportunity to include the influence of 406J in your program.
